HARDCORE RENDERMAN SHADERS
This page demonstrates some RenderMan shaders by showing pictures
rendered with Blue Moon Rendering Tools 2.6, which is a RenderMan implementation.
The 3D geometry of the models is generally simple and is not the important
part. The surfaces (and image post-processing to some extent) are the important parts.
Modified skylight example from BMRT 2.6. Teapot surfaces have been made more interesting compared to the original
example. The main interest here is to create more realistic sharp sunlight
and skylight, which is acheived without overexposing by using an imager
shader to capture the high dynamic color range.
